Through the application of allSmart Home Powered by nrg, you can add, configure and manage and remotely control a variety of smart devices from different vendors.

To add a (new) device in the app, select the 3rd option of the menu bar in the lower part of your screen (Devices), you choose ‘Devices’ on the upper side of the screen and you then press ‘+’. A selection of devices will then be displayed, and you get to choose the one that corresponds to the model of your device. After that, you get the instructions for device pairing.

Dashboard: Through dashboard, you can add smart devices you use frequently for faster access and control, as well as get a historical overview of your implemented actions in the application.

Security: Coming soon!

Devices: Through this choice, you can create rooms and add new devices.

Actions: Through this page, you can create sequences of automated devices actions and you can also trigger a multiple device action based on geolocation.  

Settings: Through settings you can make changes to your account and profile such as change your password, activate/deactivate push notifications, request support from a qualified representative, log out from the application, etc.

Of course, the application is designed to support all different places a user has. For example, you can create the locations “Home” and “Office” or “Business” and perform different functions and device sequences simultaneously.

Yes, the application gives you the ability to create one-off rules, as well as repetitive routines.

By choosing the “Devices” tab from menu bar and again the ‘Devices’ tab on the upper right side of the screen, you can browse and control all the devices paired with the app. At the top right side of the screen, the ‘Edit’ option gives you the ability to delete any device you want. The same applies to the Rooms you have created as well.

By choosing the tab Devices from menu bar and then the choice ‘Devices’ on the upper right side, you see the option to turn on and turn off each one of the devices. Respectively, if we select ‘Rooms’ from the top left, we can see the indications ‘On’ and ‘Off’ that correspond to each room we have created.

The application adapts perfectly to the operating system settings, so it has the language of the device. If you switch the language of your device, the application will switch language automatically.

There are two ways to request for answers to your potential problems or queries while using the application. One is by selecting the icon with the customer service agent located at the top right corner of each application screen and the second is by selecting the “Settings” from the menu bar and the last option which is ‘Customer Support’. The options you have through this page are access to FAQs, communication via e-mail, or contact via phone call with the support team.

Yes, the consumption of your smart devices can be counted if you have smart plugs or multi-sockets.

By selecting the tab “Devices” from the menu bar and again ‘Devices’ on the upper right corner of the screen, you can enter into each smart plug or multi-socket you have paired with the application and see the consumption of the device at the bottom of the screen. You can also access the consumption on a monthly basis, through the graph icon on the upper right corner of the screen.

Download the Alexa App from Google Play/Apple App Store and sign in.

Tip: Before setup, check that you have the latest version of the Alexa app in your device’s app store. With the free Alexa app, you can set up your device; manage your alarms, music, shopping lists, and more. The Alexa app is available on phones and tablets with: * Android 5.0 or higher * iOS 9.0 or higher

To download the Alexa app, go to the app store on your mobile device and search for Alexa app. Then select and download the app.

You can also visit alexa.amazon.com on your web browser.

- Turn on Amazon Echo (2nd Generation). Plug the included power adapter into Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) and then into a power outlet. The light ring on Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) turns blue, and then orange. When the light turns orange, Alexa greets you.

Connect Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) to a Wi-Fi network. Follow the guided instructions in the app to connect Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) to a Wi-Fi network. To learn more, go to Connect Your Echo Device to Wi-Fi .

Tip: If your Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) doesn’t connect to your Wi-Fi network, unplug and then plug the device into a power outlet to restart it. If you still have trouble, reset your Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) to its factory settings and set it up again. To learn more, go to Reset Your Echo Device.

- Talk to Alexa. You can now use your Echo device. To get started, say the “wake word” and then speak naturally to Alexa. Your Echo device is set to respond to the wake word “Alexa” by default, but you can change it at any time. To manage the wake word in the Alexa app, select the Devices icon, select your device, and then select Wake word. You can also say, “Change the wake word.”

- Optional: Connect Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) to an External Speaker While Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) has a speaker, you can connect it to external speakers with an audio cable (sold separately) or through Bluetooth.

Note: Alexa prompts “Going forward, I would like to respond with a beep. Do you want to continue”. If you select continue, Alexa will respond with a beep sound rather than “OK” when you give a command.

Just say Alexa, discover devices once your allSmart HOME powered by nrg app and Amazon account are linked.

Note: If you reset and re-setup allSmart HOME powered by nrg, disable, and re-enable VoiceAct skill in Alexa app.

Yes, by pressing the Microphone ON/OFF button present at the top of the device.

Yes, you can set up and control Alexa by going to alexa.amazon.com in your web browser.

Make sure you are having the latest version of Google Home app in your phone.

Android:

- Download the Google Home App from Google PlayStore.

- Open the Google Home App and sign-in using your Google account.

- Follow the instructions to setup Google Home.

After successful setup, Tap on + Add on home page to add your allSmart HOME account.

- Select Set up device and tap on Have something already set up?

- Enter allSmart HOME Voiceact in Search bar and select it.

- Enter your allSmart HOME account credentials and tap on Login.

- Select your desired allSmart HOME Hub from the list. (Note: You can only control the devices which are connected to selected Hub).

- All Devices and Actions in your allSmart HOME account will be available in the HOME Page.

iOS:

- Download the Google Home App from Apple App Store.

- Open the Google Home App and sign-in using your Google account.

- Tap on Profile icon at the bottom right corner.

- Under GOOGLE ASSISTANT, tap on More Settings.

Select ASSISTANT, tap on Home Control.

Tap the plus icon at the bottom right under DEVICES and select Google Home Act.

- Enter your allSmart HOME account email address, password and tap on Login.

- Select your desired Hub from the list. (Note: You can only control the devices which are connected to selected Hub).

- All Devices and Actions in allSmart HOME will be available in HOME CONTROL under DEVICES.

Note: Google Home will not recognize the rooms in allSmart HOME. Please try to use other browsers if you face issues with Google Chrome browser while linking your allSmart HOME account with Google Home

Following the devices a user can control via Google Home through the allSmart HOME powered by nrg app: LIFX Lights, Led strips, Wi-Fi Lights, Wi-Fi sockets, door/window sensors and water leakage sensors.

Note: You cannot control Thermostats and custom remotes through Google Home.

After linking your allSmart HOME account with Google Home, just say “Okay Google, Sync my devices”.

Just say Okay Google, Turn OFF device name or Okay Google, Turn ON device name.

Before adding Lifx lights to allSmart HOME App, download LIFX App from App Store/Google Play and add lights by following instructions in the App.

In the allSmart HOME App:

- Tap on Devices.

Select Add Device. Under Add A Device, select Light.

Enter your LIFX account credentials and tap on Sign in. Tap on Authorize. Select the devices you wish to connect, enter the device information and tap Done

In the allSmart HOME App:

Tap on Devices and select Add Device. Under Add A Device, select Light.

Tap on Color Control and select LIFX Group.

Select existing group in LIFX account, add device Information and tap Done.

Go to Devices. Tap on the device to view the status of the light.

The color and intensity of the light can be controlled.

Tap on Settings icon at the top-right corner to see the recent activities, edit name and change room.

Before adding Philips lights to allSmart HOME App, download Philips Hue App from App Store/Google Play and add lights by following instructions in the App.

In the allSmart HOME App:

Tap on Devices.

Select Add Device. Under Add A Device, select Light.

Tap Search Bridge, select the desired bridge from the list and tap on Next. Press the power button on your bridge to pair and tap on NextNote: Ensure all the Hue lights are turned ON before clicking Search Bridge.

Enter the desired name for the Lights and the Location. Tap Done.

Note: Make sure to turn ON all your Philips Hue Light Bulbs to add them to allSmart HOME. If you want to add more, select Continue else tap Cancel.

Go to Devices on the allSmart HOME App Home page.

By tapping on the device, you can view the device status, power and energy values.

Tap on Settings icon at the top-right corner to see the recent activities, firmware version of the device, Online/OFFline status, edit name, change room, update firmware and change access point.

Open allSmart HOME App and tap on devices.

Go to Devices and select your socket under devices.

To the top right corner tap settings icon and select Notify me where you can enable and disable notifications.

Open allSmart HOME App and tap on devices.

By tapping on the device, you can view the device status, power and energy values.

- Select your socket under devices, on the top right corner tap settings icon and select Device Details.

Open allSmart HOME App and tap on Devices:

Select your socket under devices.

Once you select your socket it displays a screen which allows you to turn ON/OFF socket. To the left hand top corner, you will see Graph icon, tap on the Graph icon to view Power and Energy Graphs.
